Laila Ali

Laila Ali is the daughter of Mohammed Ali and the most famous female boxer in the history of the sport. As the second child of Mohammed Ali and his second wife Veronica Porche Ali, Laila grew up around boxing, its big names, and its history. She currently holds a perfect fight record of 24-0 after 8 years of professional boxing (though some critics dismiss this record because Ali has never fought any top female contenders). In among her many wins, Ms. Ali has triumphed against other legendary boxers’ daughters. She beat  George Foreman’s daughter Freeda Foreman, and Joe Frazier’s daughter Jackie Frazier-Lyde.

Laila is as famous for her warm and entertaining personality as she is for her prowess in the ring. As a result, she is highly in demand as an entertainer as well as an athlete. In 2007, she performed as a dancer on Dancing with the Stars, and has hosted or guest-hosted several American shows, including The Early Show, American Gladiators, and The N’s Student Body.

There are some extraordinary sports classes around that are lead by ex-professional athletes and other great teachers.
